“I love art, people, and places….the three of these have become almost one, tied into my nervous system. They are a part of me. A type of therapy. It makes things clearer for me....it's my medicine. I'm not sure how strong that medicine is for others that have my artwork in their homes. But my prayer is, that in some secret way, it heals them too.

I think the process of poetry, of art, of trying to become more acute to empathy, all make us better human beings. And if I am honest in pouring that into the art, i do believe it heals. It connects to memory. To feeling. To something we all have inside of us.

More people asked about my art for their homes during this pandemic than any other time I can remember. Perhaps it was the same after the great wars in the past. Or could of been because people were home more.... I think that's part of it. But I think an equal (possibly larger part of it), was the fact that people wanted medicine in their homes during a bewildering time in life. And continue to do so.

Sorry for rambling lol.

What I am trying to say, is stop by if you have a chance. I’d love to meet and share with you all the many things my mind and heart wrestle with. The things that make me hopeful, that excite me, that scare me, the entire topography of the soul I’ve been blessed to become acquainted with over the years
